In other news...

I've been a bit under the weather as of late, no thanks to spring and it's sudden urge to have all manner of plants in my area begin pollinating.

In hindsight, I also that my last journal was a bit defeatist in some regards. While we did not manage to do what my friend and I set out to do, we ended up having fun at the local event in our area. I guess I was just a bit bummed out, but I realized I was not going to be able to provide anything for sale, so it was a moot point to be disappointed in. Though, with JabeCon at the end of May, things should be a bit easier to get prepared for.

Other than that, MTAC 2014 was interesting, to put it kindly. While I showed up a bit later than I would have liked to due to my altered volunteer schedule, the new convention site was packed with people and almost impossible to navigate. Let's just say that the convention portion of the con was not the same experience as the previous year.

ANYWAY, enough negative talk. Outside of the general convention chaos, I met a lot of my friends again, got some sweet photos (that I need to finish editing), and had a decent time overall. I also felt WAY too busy to get shots with people I wanted to, but I guess that also tends to be the general nature of places like this.
