asked if I could post the outfit I made so he could use it and I figured, "Well, why not?"
Keep in mind that this can also be considered a beta release and it could prove a bit quirky outside of my workspace, even after I tested everything to make sure it all loads up okay in Poser 6 and 7. Also included a readme file giving a little more info on how to use it and etc. It DOES NOT work in any version of DAZ|Studio, regardless if you're using the advanced/paid version with clothing dynamics. No way in hell am I going to support that since it's practically impossible to make it work outside of Daz's development studio. Do not ask for this functionality as I cannot help you.
Also, another note, this outfit is not rigged in any shape or form; so, again, it will not work with DAZ|Studio. For anything else, let me know if you need any help. My email is included in the readme, or via a note here on DA.
Usage Restrictions: You can only make noncommercial renders using this outfit and I'd prefer if you inform me if you make any additional changes to the textures (included texture template for this purpose) along with whatever renders you make, similar in how stock art is used. Contact me if you have any questions or doubts.

Yes, I mentioned that it was made in Blender 2.49b for use in Poser 5-7 (6 and 7 tested for sure). It should work in later versions so long as you're using dynamic clothing control options in Poser and Victoria 4/Aiko 4 as the figure.
I would have to post the original file for that to be the case, but yes, it would work in Blender 2.49b and possibly later versions. Though, honestly, it's designed to fit V4/A4 and you'd need to import the model with it's rigging for it to be useful under Blender.
No, the dress is just a dress with no rigging added. Essentially, it's designed to fit onto the V4/A4 model and flow like cloth as both Blender and Poser supports dynamic clothing and deformations of the base mesh, obviously with different methods of doing so.
The rigging I'm referring to is actually the V4/A4 rig to model, which tends to be a bit off being imported into Blender. Otherwise, you'd have to redo the rigging yourself.
Good job with the dynamic dress. They are way easier to make (no grouping, no rigging and no pesky joint adjustments), and pose very well if you can figure out Poser's rather cryptic parameters. I have recently asked Smith Micro to please make cloth simulation multi-threaded, since nearly everything else in Poser 7/8 is already like that. I think that would make cloth simulation more usable on nowadays multi-core computers. ^^
